Dar Habak Dubai is for a new generation – a place where people can come for great tasting urban Lebanese street food, enjoy personal service and feel comfortable.
As a child of passionate chefs, culinary delights surrounded me every day of my life and so becoming a professional chef was the most natural career path for me to take. I was fortunate enough to be invited to the kitchen from a very early age to spectate the most wondrous traditional Lebanese recipes being created by my chef parents.
Waking up to amazing smells of the best ingredients being prepared in my family kitchen, touching and learning about every kind of food imaginable, I soon fell in love with every aspect of cooking and what it meant to present the best dishes to everyone.
By the time I became a teenager and already very familiar with Lebanese cuisine, I needed to quench my thirst for learning about cuisines in other parts of the world beyond my home country. I wanted to learn what they cook, how they cook, the traditions, the cultures and everything associated with fine food. I chose France where I learned classic cuisine at culinary school and as a Lebanese French speaker, soon learned to combine fabulous French with traditional Arabic dishes.
